A place where every child is respected, nutured and grows at their own natural place

In a world that moves ever faster, where children are often swept into rigid molds and unseen pressures, ME School Montessori chooses a different path: returning to the true nature of learning — a place where every child is respected, nurtured, and grows at their own rhythm.

Materials — A Child’s Gentle Companion

At ME, children don’t learn by memorizing — they learn by touching, doing, trying, failing, and trying again. ME School uses an internationally certified Montessori material system from Nienhuis (Netherlands) — one of the few brands recognized by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).

Each material is designed with the philosophy of “self-correction through experience.” Children don’t need anyone to grade or remind them — they sense right and wrong themselves through direct interaction with each object. Wooden blocks, counting beads, sandpaper letters — these are not just items, but silent teachers that spark thinking, engage the senses, and nurture deep focus from within.

Teachers — Gentle Guides

In every classroom, the Guide (teacher) observes, listens, and appears when the child truly needs them. These companions are thoroughly trained by international Montessori organizations like AMI, MIA, and above all, they carry a heart full of empathy and patience.

At ME, a teacher simply opens the door — and the child steps through it on their own.

Environment — A Space that Nurtures Freedom

Classrooms at ME are designed so children can take charge of their own learning journey. Everything is orderly, beautiful, and purposeful. Every material has its own “home.” Every choice a child makes is respected — as long as it does not harm themselves, others, or the surrounding environment.

Children are free to choose their work, free to make mistakes, and free to correct them. No one forces, no one compares. In this environment, inner discipline grows naturally, and children develop independence, respect, and the ability to live harmoniously within a community.

Mixed-Age Classrooms — A Small Community

A hallmark of Montessori is the mixed-age classroom. At ME, children of different ages learn and grow together in one shared space. This creates a natural community where:

- Younger children are inspired by older ones

- Older children learn to guide, share, and be patient

- Every child is both a learner and a teacher, at the same time

This is not just a way of learning — it’s a way of living, helping children build social skills deeply, genuinely, and sustainably.

Nature — A Playground for the Senses and Emotions

At ME School Montessori, nature is a special teacher. With over 300 square meters of outdoor gardens, children can touch soil, sand, water, and wind. They walk barefoot on grass, climb treehouses, build sandcastles, and observe tiny insects beneath the bushes.

For ME, nature is not just a place to play — it’s a place for children to listen to their bodies, feel their emotions, and connect with the living world around them. Nature helps children find balance and grow a soul that is deep and full of feeling.

Ages and Sensitive Periods

Montessori sees each developmental stage as a “sensitive period” — when a child has unique and special needs for learning. That’s why classrooms at ME are divided by developmental milestones:

  • 6–18 months: The stage of early movement and sensory awareness. Children focus on feeling their bodies, developing gross motor skills, building emotional bonds, and creating inner order.

  • 18 months – 3 years: The “little independence” stage. Children begin to explore the world with their own hands and feet. This is a key time for developing language, practical life skills, and self-care abilities.

  • 3–6 years: The stage of the “conscious absorbent mind.” Children learn math, language, geography, arts, science, and culture through rich, hands-on materials. This is also when they build strong social skills and independent thinking.

At ME School Montessori — Tân Thuận Campus, we do not aim to teach children to become someone else.
We simply create an environment where every child can truly be themselves — and grow in their own, beautifully unique way.
